Thinking of pursuing your dream to become one of the most famous make up artists? Well then why don’t you give yourself a break and check out this cosmetology school in Minnesota that I came across. I love make ups and trying new shades once in a while when I have time. And making a job out of it would be amazing! I’ve heard really nice stories about some of my friends getting to work with to celebrities and models. So, if you want to join the wagon. Start schooling now and check out this school. They have included every accredited beauty school in the US, which is doable for searching by state or zip code. They even provide links to their sites so that you can check them out for yourself.

Investing

I am in a shopping ban for a while now. LOL The husband and I have been talking about investment and I am fine with it. We are actually looking for a new investment that could give us something nice in return for future purposes. I’m sure we all look for that huh..So anyway, if you are in the look out to where to buy silver bullion ,check this site that I came across. They are established company for gold bullions, coins and precious metals products. I’ve read that Monex is America’s premier coin dealer because of its sizable buy-and-sell bullion and coin market. Billions of dollars in transaction volume is proof that Monex offers competitive gold prices, making Monex the preferred source for the purchase of bullions. They are certified and convertible gold bullion bar, and for special “internet-only” incentives available on this product for new customers.

What Does LOVE mean?

I saw this from my friends FB notes and have to snag it:) Read on..

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, “What does love mean?” The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined.

“When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her toenails anymore.
So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his h ands got arthritis too. That’s love.”
Rebecca- age 8
_____

“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.”
Billy - age 4 (I love this one)
_____

“Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.”
Karl - age 5
_____

“Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.”
Chrissy - age 6
___

“Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired.”
Terri - age 4

_____

“Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.”
Danny - age 7

_____
“Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more.

My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss”
Emily - age 8

_____
“Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.”
Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

_____
“If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,”
Nikka - age 6

(we need a few million more Nikka’s on this planet)
_____

“Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.”
Noelle - age 7

_____
“Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well.”
Tommy - age 6

_____
“Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.”
Elaine-age 5
_____
“Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford.”
Chris - age 7
_____

“Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day.”
Mary Ann - age 4
_____

“I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones.”
Lauren - age 4
____
“When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.” (what an image)
Karen - age 7
_____

“Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn’t think it’s gross.”
Mark - age 6
_____

“You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.”
Jessica - age 8
_____

And the final one — Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman’s yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,

“Nothing, I just helped him cry”

Dream Destination

August 12, 2009

A friend of mine just got married a few weeks ago and I’m sure they were having a great deal of time with their honeymoon! Although, it wasn’t as grand like this destination weddings that I came across while looking for dream destination with the husband later this year! I’ve heard great stories about this place already. And the fact that they have the most fabulous all inclusive deals. They even offer Gourmet Inclusive which by the way, is a great idea if you love food and all! Karisma Hotels are top hotels around the world that boast not just the beach but with it’s service and the all around facilities! Hopefully, when the husband can take a leave from work we could squeeze our time and money to going there!

The ABC’s of Potty Training

if you have toddlers like mine then this is a very helpful tips on how to potty trained your little ones!

A. Assess your child’s readiness — and your own
B. Buy the right equipment
C. Create a routine
D. Demonstrate for your child
E. Explain the process
F. Foster the habit
G. Grab some training pants
H. Handle setbacks gracefully
I. Introduce night training
J. Jump for joy — you’re done!

Saw this from Babycenter and thought this is helpful. So here it is..

Most parents eagerly anticipate toilet training as a milestone in their child’s development, if for no other reason than that it means an end to changing diapers. But few moms and dads are prepared for how long toilet training can take. Sure, some children master it within a few days, but others can take several months. In fact, it’s generally true that the earlier you start, the longer it takes.

Eyeglasses

July 23, 2009

MY little boy has been telling me that every time he looks at his computer monitor his eye gets sore after a few minutes. I still have to check on his doctor about this. I know he’s still a kid but he’s 7 yrs old and has been using computer since he was 2 years old! I don’t want him to wear eyeglasses that early but of course I have to make sure that he is alright. Things that I needed to do when I go back home..So when I saw this $ 8 Rx eyeglasses over at Zenni Optical on TV!!! I was like, WOW! This is really a good promo considering that it’s cheaper but with really quality frames you can ever find at that starting price! Might as well check on a few eyeglasses that they have because I want one as well! A High Five to Zenni Optical for a job well done and for such affordable promo! :)

Stuff

Earlier today, I went out and bought a few things for myself. I wanted to buy new make ups specially my daily fix before going to sleep. I have been really loving C Step 3 and I still have to get a new moisture surge because it it won’t last until weekend. I tried looking one in the mall near our place but I never saw one. Might as well take a trip down Shinjuku before my trip. I also need to get a B perfume because I ran out with mine. So anyway, I was thinking of just getting it online and guess what I came across? This Allegro medical site offers tons of medical stuff from baby products, fitness products, to electrodes, to daily living aids and more! I might as well check things for my little boys too. If you are looking for things like that, this is a great one stop shop online! :)

I’m BLUE!

Took a quiz in FB about a personality test and here it says like this;

You are blue! You are a deep, sensitive dreamer. You are usually laid back and calm, though, like an ocean, you can kick up a good storm, too! You are probably a daydreamer, who has his/her head in the clouds. You love spending time with your friends, and probably just go with whatever they want to do (you’re a go with the flow type of person, just like water!). You are emotionally inclined - unlike reds, who feel passionately and intensely, you feel things deeply and strongly. You are extremely loyal, and your friends can always count on you to be there for them. Blues are almost always very intelligent, and they strive for perfection in many areas. You may tend to beat yourself up for your imperfections. Other people admire you and strive to be like you, but you probably have a hard time understanding why. You can be light and fun at times, and other times deep and introverted. It just depends on your mood. Sometimes you throw people off with your random changes in disposition, but your friends love you anyways. You can be a very wise, intellectual person, but you have to pull yourself up out of your own thoughts first! You, in a nutshell: Deep, emotional, wise, loyal, slightly moody, feeling, sensitive, supportive, intelligent. BLUE! .

Helping Analyze

I was looking for the things that I needed to bring this weekend and I saw the folders of the husband from work. My gosh! Since he’s been traveling a lot for a few months now, it’s understandable that he cannot tidy up the place more. I was thinking of maybe I can ask someone to clean the house twice a week if he’s still not here. I know someone would gladly do that for him. So anyway, while cleaning and arranging those papers, I noticed the files about our stocks. Not really sure if it was that but he mentioned a while ago about this options screener that he wanted to use because of the many good reviews about getting the right profit and really helpful in sorting, managing, analyzing the thousand optional stocks and more options to get the profit margin you wanted! I might as well check on this too when I have more time.

Degree Online

July 1, 2009

Looking through this online degree courses and thought a friend of mine would love to see this. She needed this more than ever and getting online courses online would allow her to take care with the kids too. This one is definitely a good choice too. I’ve read that this school offers students an opportunity to earn a degree from an accredited university that delivers the challenge of a traditional classroom, but affords the flexibility to fit education into one’s life. Which sounds really interesting! I’ll let her know for sure about this! And check it out too if you think that e-learning is for you as well! Never too late for everything!
